Blake Swanson M.S.

Medical Illustrator/Animator 

Blake Swanson is a medical illustrator and animator who has been working professionally since 2007. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Florida and a Master of Science in Medical Illustration from the Medical College of Georgia. In addition to his academic training, Blake has spent time working in a busy emergency room and trauma center and is familiar with both the clinical and academic sides of medicine.After completing his graduate education, Blake went to work for a medical animation company, creating 2D and 3D animations for various medical device companies and professional health associations, such as Zimmer, Cook, GE Healthcare, American Heart Association and the American Society of Echocardiography. In 2012, Blake began his journey as a freelance medical legal illustrator, pursuing his passion for the problem solving and strategic storytelling inherent in medical malpractice and personal injury work. He has since created numerous successful trial exhibits for both plaintiff and defense attorneys.Blake joined The Keenan Law Firm in March of 2020, where he has been able to grow and continue his lifelong education under the firm’s expert guidance. The Keenan Law Firm understands the psychological impact that clear and concise visual storytelling can have on a jury.
